Career Highlights: Earned Second Team All-Big 12 honors as a sophomore and a junior. Named honorable mention All-Conference his freshman and senior seasons. Finished collegiate career as the third all-time leading scorer in Texas A&M history with 1,679 points. Also ranks sixth all-time in blocked shots (95), sixth in rebounds (837) and 10th in steals (124). Started all 131 career games played. Registered 18 career double-doubles. Served as team captain all four years.
Senior (2007-08): Ranked second on the team in scoring (10.3 ppg) and rebounding (5.4 rpg). Scored in double figures 24 times. Posted season-high 18 points and grabbed six rebounds vs. Oklahoma. Tallied 14 points and nine rebounds vs. Rice. Registered 17 points and nine rebounds vs. Washington. Contributed 14 points vs. Texas. Recorded 15 points and six rebounds vs. UTEP. Notched 14 points vs. Kansas in the Big 12 Tournament title game. Posted a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double vs. BYU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Junior (2006-07): Averaged 13.4 points and a team-high 6.8 rebounds (ranked ninth in the Big 12). Posted five double-doubles. Recorded season-high 24 points on 9-for-11 shooting vs. Pacific. Registered 18 points and a career-high 15 rebounds at Colorado. Tallied 21 points and nine rebounds at Oklahoma. Scored 22 points vs. Baylor. Led team with 18 points and seven rebounds vs. Oklahoma State in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament. Posted 14 points and 11 rebounds vs. Penn in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Scored 14 points vs. Memphis in the Sweet Sixteen.
Sophomore (2005-06): Averaged 15.3 points and a team-high 6.5 rebounds. Registered five double-doubles. Recorded a career-high 35 points and pulled down a season-high 13 rebounds vs. North Texas. Scored 31 points and tied a Big 12 record for field goals made in a half (9) vs. Texas. Tallied 27 points at Oklahoma State. Posted 29 points and ten rebounds vs. Baylor. Notched 24 points and eight rebounds vs. Auburn. Led team with 21 points vs. Colorado in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament. Tallied 12 points and seven rebounds vs. Syracuse in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Freshman (2004-05): Led the team in rebounding (7.3 rpg), field goal percentage (.577) and blocked shots (39), while ranking second in scoring (12.7 ppg). Registered seven double-doubles. Recorded 23 points and 10 rebounds vs. Houston. Notched 21 points and a season-high-tying 13 rebounds vs. Baylor. Scored 16 points at Kansas. Led team with a season-high 25 points vs. Clemson in the first round of the postseason NIT. Posted 14 points and 11 rebounds at DePaul in the second round. Earned Big 12 All-Freshman Team honors.
Strengths: Uses good hands and feet to operate efficiently in the post, despite lacking offensive polish. A quick leaper who is not afraid to go to the offensive glass.
Personal: Majored in agricultural leadership. Would like to become a sports agent when his playing days are over. Admits to being a neat freak. Favorite NBA team is the Miami Heat.
