Tulsa, who was defeated for the first time since Dec. 28, remains atop the Western Conference standings. Its 14-game winning streak will go down as the third-longest in D-League history.
Also scoring in double-figures for Tulsa on Sunday was Elijah Millsap with 23 and Robert Vaden with 14.
Defensively, Tulsa forced 15 Maine turnovers and outrebounded the Red Claws by a 50-36 margin. The contest included 10 ties and 10 lead changes.
DeShawn Sims led the Red Claws (12-17) in scoring with 26 points and forward Tiny Gallon added a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards.
The 66ers will return to the court on Friday, Feb. 4 to host the Utah Flash at 7 p.m. CT inside the Tulsa Convention Center. Friday’s game will mark the 66ers annual Thunder affiliate night which will feature an appearance by Rumble the Bison, performances by the Thunder Girls and Thunder Drummers.
