Dyson, Millsap Named All-Rookies

TULSA, Okla., April 15, 2011— Tulsa 66ers guard Jerome Dyson was named to the NBA D-League’s All-Rookie First team and Elijah Millsap was named to the Second Team, the League announced Friday.

During this year’s regular season, Dyson played in 47 games (10 starts) and averaged 15.5 points, 3.1 rebound, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals in 26.9 minutes.

Millsap played in 50 games (44 starts) this season and averaged 15.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 28.6 minutes.

The two rookies have extended their stellar play into the 2011 NBA D-League playoffs, as Dyson averaged 18.5 points, 8.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 27.5 minutes in Tulsa’s quarterfinal matchups against Texas. Millsap posted averages of 19.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 36 minutes against the Legends.
